Dear Friends,

This message is to update you about the status of Bermudez Projects as we are working to prevent COVID-19.

As you know, our openings are always fun and affectionate events. However, given the current situation, this might not be the safest thing to do, now. Therefore, upon careful consideration – and great regret – we are canceling this Saturday evening’s opening reception for Emmanuel Crespo’s A Murder of Crows. The latest guidance from health experts recommends against gatherings, and we think that makes sense.

We are pleased to inform, however, that the gallery will be open during regular business hours Saturday, March 14 from noon to 6pm, if you would like to come by and view the exhibit.

PLEASE NOTE: we ask you not to come if you are in one of the groups of people at elevated risk of getting ill, such as the elderly or those with compromised immune systems. And, it is with sadness that we ask you not to bring small children to the gallery. This is most unfortunate, as children have become such a wonderful part of the Bermudez Projects experience. But, we do not want anyone to become infected with the Coronavirus.

In these unprecedented circumstances, the well-being of our staff and all our visitors is paramount. And while Bermudez Projects continues to welcome its guests, we will be following the basic protocols, which for us means minimizing contact.

So please feel free to develop a custom fist, elbow, or hip bump to substitute for our usual hugs and kisses.

For those who wish to remain at home, we are thrilled to inform you that you may view the exhibit virtually through our new website partner, Artsy! Click HERE from the comfort of your own home and please contact us for more details about any of the artworks on view in this exhibit.

We are continuing to monitor this situation very closely and will take additional precautions in the future, should they become necessary.

On behalf of the entire Bermudez Projects Team and Emmanuel Crespo, thank you for your understanding.

Sincerely,

Julian Bermudez
